The Green Dragon Standard & Our Environmental Policy
Seery Water Services is based on a purpose-built facility located in Ballyhane, Cappoquin, Co. Waterford. The company operates as providers of various water services including well drilling and the supply & installation of water pumps, water treatment systems and geothermal heating systems.
Seery Water Services understands that our operations impact on the environment. We are committed to ensuring that these environmental impacts are minimised where possible and that all the company's activities are carried out in a manner which ensures pollution prevention and compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements. As part of this commitment to our environment the company was certified to the Green Dragon Environmental Standard. (Certificate number IE/WAT/1352)
The main impacts to be addressed through the implementation of our environmental management system are improved waste management and pollution prevention measures. We have formalised the segregation and disposal of wastes classed as hazardous (such as spent oils and oily rags); and have implemented spill trays for the on-site storage of oils.
Having achieved the Green Dragon Environmental Standard, Seery Water Services have committed to:

- Consider environmental impacts when planning for operational changes
- Communicate environmental requirements to all employees
EcoCert Certification
The requirements for achieving €coCert certification are the same core requirements as for any recognised environmental certification scheme. You must have;- An environmental policy
- An improvement plan
- Performance monitoring (e.g. utilities usage).
- A commitment to pollution prevention.
